Welcome to the Children and Young People page of Dundee's Community Planning Partnership
The work of the children and young people theme group is managed by the Strategic Planning and Implementation Management groups of Dundee's Integrated Children's Services and full details can be found on the dedicated Integrated Children's Services website. The Children and Young People theme group aims can be found in Dundee's Integrated Children's Services Plan 2010/2012. Our aims are based on the national Getting It Right For Every Child approach where we want to ensure "that every child and young person in Dundee is Safe, Healthy, Achieving, Nurtured, Active, Respected, Responsible and Included."
Some of the priority issues in Dundee today include; developing early years and early intervention strategies and services, improving the health of children, delivering youth justice, tackling anti-social behaviour, protecting and keeping children safe and enhancing education opportunities for children and young people.
We achieve the above through building successful 'local partnerships' across city Council Departments, NHS Tayside, Tayside Police, Voluntary Organisations and the private sector and all those organisations are represented by the following people;
